My Proverbs

"Happiness is not a station you arrive at, but a manner of traveling"
-Margaret Lee Runbeck

I choose this as a proverb for living in America because you can go anymore and find Happiness. Its not just at one place, but around. Theres beautiful things in America that make you just smile and be happy. For example New York has great shopping centers, and it just makes me happy.

"Making your mark on the world is hard. If it were easy, everybody would do it. But it's not. It takes patience, it takes commitment, and it comes with plenty of failure along the way. The real test is not whether you avoid this failure, because you won't. it's whether you let it harden or shame you into inaction, or whether you learn from it; whether you choose to persevere it"
-Barack Obama

I like this quote because it makes sense. Nothing in this world is easy. You cannot wake up one day and say, "I want to become a doctor." Because you can't. It takes time, practice, and patience. Living in America is a great thing because you have all of that. You can have time, practice, and patience.

"Its not that I'm so smart, It's just that I stay with problems longer"
-Albert Einstein

I like this quote because I can relate to it. Everyday I go through problems of my own, and I deal with them because thats how I learn from my mistakes. In America, its still a free country, but you still go through problems. Nothing is ever perfect, but in America you can reach a goal from learning from wrongs.
